From 21st to 22nd May 2018 Library information systems and their integration into IS
Harmony Club Hotel, Špindlerův Mlýn, www.harmonyclub.cz
Library information systems are relatively separate part of university information system, reflecting the fact that libraries are also relatively separate part of universities from the point of view of their operation. However, the academic community uses not only libraries in its own universities but also other study and scientific libraries, and this is one of the main reasons why the National Technical Library is also an important member of the Eunis Association.
The Eunis conference has been devoting itself to library systems for more than 12 years, and in the meantime there have been changes not only in their own library systems but in particular, new requirements have occurred such as: information processing, deposition of theses, expert work, plagiarism detection, monitoring and recording of information on research results, development and innovation, and a number of links between university information system and library systems have been established.
The conference should provide an exchange of information on how the issue is addressed in schools. The conference is intended especially for university staff: IT infrastructure management, libraries, management and administration. Participating companies have the opportunity to present their solutions.
